AI Infrastructure Network Deployment for Manufacturing Facility
Digital Technologies delivered a mission-critical network infrastructure solution designed to support AI server workloads within an active manufacturing environment. The project involved engineering and procurement of high-performance switching hardware and optical transceivers capable of 100–400 Gbps connectivity per port, enabling reliable high-bandwidth communication between AI compute systems and production infrastructure.
Working closely with the equipment manufacturer, our team designed and supplied a tailored networking solution optimized for high-density AI workloads, ensuring seamless integration without interrupting ongoing manufacturing operations.
Background and Objectives
The client’s manufacturing facility was implementing AI-driven production technologies requiring a high-performance network backbone capable of supporting extremely large data flows between AI compute systems, servers, and operational control systems.
The existing network infrastructure could not provide the bandwidth and reliability required for these workloads. At the same time, the manufacturing environment was fully operational, meaning the infrastructure upgrade had to be delivered without causing production downtime.
The objective was to engineer and supply a high-capacity, mission-critical network infrastructure capable of supporting 100–400 Gbps connectivity per port, while ensuring the production process remained uninterrupted.
Scope & Deliverables
Digital Technologies provided mission-critical product engineering and procurement services to enable the deployment of the new AI infrastructure.
